NrdGZM! takes pride in mostly all forms ‘nerdy’/’geeky’ visual entertainment. Reviews are written based on immediacy; movies, video games and TV show reviews are done give-or-take within a week of international release, while reviews for those released in the past are done based on availability.

Movie reviews are also subject to conditions such as censorship and availability in the author’s country.

As of April 20, 2014, NrdGZM! will feature the Japanese style of video game rating taken from games such as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and the Devil May Cry franchise rating system; these range through S, A, B, C to D.

Here’s a proper breakdown and the reasoning behind each rating:

S! | The 5/5 rating. Given only to the best of the best. They know what they are, what they have to do, and have nailed the execution at every possible level to become a masterpiece.

A & A+ | The 4/5 and 4.5/5 rating. Reserved for the movies/games/TV series that does mostly everything well, yet fails ever slightly in being a true hit.

B & B+ | The 3/5 and 3.5/5 rating. The rating that is given for the movies/games/TV series that have used its tools adequately, but not enough to reach its true potential.

C and C+ | The 2/5 and 2.5/5 rating. The rating that is doled out to movies/games/TV series that have the general idea down, but have failed to use the available tools to even break past mediocrity.

D and D+ | The 1/5 and 1.5/5 rating. The lowest rating on NrdGZM!. The “D” has come to stand for “Dogshit” or even “Diarrhea”, and it is given only to movies/games/TV series that have mastered the art of being flawless pieces of fecal matter.
